International Surfing Day - ISD - June 20, 2008

A message from the ISD site CRSA takes the challange .

Surfing is a sport of challenge - challenging balance, challenging waves, challenging yourself… For 2008, International Surfing Day will unveil a new element; signature challenges. These “challenges” are micro-events that will be taking place on local, regional, national and even global levels, and give ISD participants the opportunity to compete against themselves and others in surfing and environmentally themed competitions. Join in a local Surfrider chapter location and take the “challenge” to win tons of prizes.
The goal is simple: take the day, or at least a part of the day, to go out, catch a wave or three and -- while you're at it -- help clean up your favorite beach. Check in with us often and we will be providing more information on how you can take a challenge and help conserve our mother ocean.

International Surfing Day - ISD - June 20, 2008 get ready time to surf and clean our rivers and oceans everyday is ISAday for the waters we love far and wide .
